New Deal
- The New Deal was created by Franklin D. Roosevelt to get the United States out of the Great Depression.
- The New Deal focused on the 3r's which are Relief, Recovery, and Reform
- That is Relief for the unemployed and poor; Recovery of the economy to normal levels; and Reform of the financial system to prevent a repeat depression
- For the next hundred days, Franklin Roosevelt and members of congress would start enacting laws that would help the United States such as the Emergency Banking Relief Act, Unemployment Relief Act, and the Glass-Steagall Banking Reform Act
- The New Deal will not end the Great Depression but it did help decrease unemployment from 25 percent to 15 percent. It would also help relieve people in the depression.
Franklin Roosevelt's administration forever changed the relationship between the government and the people.The New Deal has greatly expanded the power of the federal government. Some of the programs that Franklin used in the New Deal are still used today.

United Nations
- The United Nations is the world's largest, foremost, and most prominent international organization
- The purpose of the United Nations is to bring all nations of the world together to work for peace and development, based on the principles of justice, human dignity and the well-being of all people.
- The U.N Charter was approved by the senate of the United States on July 28, 1945 and it would be located in New York City.
- The Big Five Powers on the security council were the United States, Britain, USSR, France, and China
- Any of the five powers can veto a resolution that they do not like and it would not be passed.
The United Nations will help preserve peace in Iran, Kashmir, and other other countries. It would play a large role in creating the new Jewish state of Israel. The United Nations will solve many issues dealing with war such as the Vietnam war.
